The Malaysia Marathon 2026 attracted 25,000 local and international runners in a pre-dawn spectacle tied to the 69th National Day celebration. Minister Tiong King Sing flagged off the event near Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, with races ranging from 5km to 42km.
