Vietnamese police dismantle transnational fraud ring with RM39.2 million in losses
Police in Vietnam's Ninh Binh province have broken up a transnational online fraud operation responsible for losses exceeding RM39.2 million. The 12-person network, led by Nguyen Van Cuong and Nguyen Van Phuong, impersonated officials and created fake websites to defraud roughly 500 victims.
