Tibetan weaving cooperative preserves ancient craft tradition while creating rural employment
A Tibetan cooperative in Shannan is sustaining the centuries-old tradition of weaving Pulu, a traditional woolen fabric. Founded in 2008, the workshop employs over 100 residents and teaches younger Tibetans a craft once nearly extinct.
