Indonesia Charges 24 Foreigners in Illegal Gold Mining Scheme in Maluku
Indonesia has formally charged 24 foreign nationals as criminal suspects in an illegal gold mining operation in Maluku. The suspects allegedly constructed infrastructure for clandestine mining near Gunung Botak. Penalties include up to five years imprisonment.
