Government Moving to Strengthen Railway Security With Tougher Laws and Tech
The Malaysian government is finalising legal amendments to impose stricter penalties for railway crimes including trespassing, vandalism, and cable theft. Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Hasbi Habibollah told Parliament the reforms will be tabled later this year.
