Government Boosts Neighbourhood Watch Funding to RM10,000 Annually
The Malaysian government has approved a significant increase in annual funding for Neighbourhood Watch Areas (KRT) from RM6,000 to RM10,000, with disbursement beginning January 2027. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim justified the move after the grant remained unchanged for ten years.
