Competition Act Amendments Target Digital-Age Cartels, Expand MyCC Authority
Malaysia's proposed Competition (Amendment) Bill 2026 will expand the Malaysia Competition Commission's investigative powers and create new criminal offences to combat cartels exploiting digital technologies and disappearing messages to hide evidence.
