Upholding Malay Need Not Diminish Other Languages, Says Anwar
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stressed that strengthening Malay as Malaysia's official language should not come at the expense of other tongues. He called for citizens to develop proficiency across multiple languages including English, Mandarin and Tamil to enhance economic opportunities.
