Malaysia Eyes Deeper Defence Ties With Iran Through New Cooperation Framework
Malaysia is pursuing substantive defence cooperation with Iran, with Defence Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin indicating interest in finalising a memorandum of understanding and welcoming Iranian participation in next year's Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition.
