Chinese village mediator recognised as national hero after losing nose to save woman from attacker
A 69-year-old Chinese villager has been named a national hero after losing much of his nose while subduing an attacker who was assaulting a woman. Zeng Fanlin's intervention prevented a potential tragedy despite severe personal injury.
