Malaysia's Online Scam Reports Surge to Nearly 6,000 in First Four Months of Year
Malaysia's National Scam Response Centre received 5,944 online scam reports in the first four months of 2025, with e-commerce fraud and telecom scams accounting for the majority. Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching warns of rising victimization.
