Tabung Haji's Double Accounting Switch in One Day Masked 2017 Losses, RCI Reveals
A Royal Commission of Inquiry found that Tabung Haji changed its impairment policy twice within a single day in 2017 to inflate profits and distribute dividends. The institution should have reported a RM1.4 billion loss instead of RM3.4 billion profit.
